Tax Exemption
The foundation furaha is having its headquarters in the canton of Basel Landschaft and is tax exempt according to resolution no. 2016-7.15 of the cantonal Taxation and Decree Commission of October 19, 2016, based on its non-profit organisation goal. According to information from the tax office, the resolution was enforced throughout Switzerland. You will receive the certificate for your tax declaration at the beginning of January of the year following your donation.

Godparentship
A godparentship for a child covers school fees, school material, school uniform, meals and often also the costs for transportation by schoolbus.
These costs are the same for all types of schools and all ages.
With your regular, monthly donation you help us to cover and secure the school fees, medical support and meals for the children and teenagers.
Godparentship Private Primary School
Day School between CHF 60.- and 80.- per month
Boarding School between 110.- and 130.- per month
Godparentship Private Secundary School
Day School between CHF 80.- and 100.- per month
Boarding School between 150.- and 180.- per month
Godparentship University
Day Attendance between CHF 100.- and 120.- per month
On Campus between 160.- and 200.- per month

Family Sponsorship
We cover the most urgent needs such as medical support, food and necessary items for everyday life. We do not give cash money, but we buy food, clothes and shoes, pay doctor’s bills, etc.
Still, our main goal is to help families to support themselves. We are of the opinion that the parents should play an active part. So, we try to find work for the parents, so that they can become independent (of our help) as soon as possible. That is in many cases a difficult task. Many adults cannot read or write. This only confirms how important school education is.
Small amounts, starting at 20.- CHF/Month are already a help for such families.
People with Handicap
It is our goal to enable people with handicap a life with the highest possible degree of independance. We support people with handicap and their families with various helpful items.

Basic School Equipment
Books, exercise books and school material is the basic equipment at school Sometimes one whole class shares one single book. Without books and exercise books the children cannot learn.
