OUR FOCUS
Our activities in Tanzania focus on four main fields of work: People with disabilities, godparentships, family sponsorships and basic school equipment. We are committed on-site and search sponsorships and donations.
People with disabilities
The superstition that families with a child with disability is widespread in Tanzania: they are therefore excluded from the village community.
It is our goal to enable people with disabilities to lead a life in dignity and of highest possible degree of independence.
We support people with disabilities and their families with various items.
Godparentship
Our godparentship project focuses on children from the poorest families, whose members and social situation is personally known to us. We visit the children in their homes and work against violence towards children and widespread child labour.
By sponsoring a child you ensure that the child receives school education and basic medical care and you help the child to lead a self-determined life.
Family Sponsorship
A large part of the Tanzanian population lives in extreme poverty. Many people do not have enough to eat and are therefore more prone to illness. In rural areas they live off what they produce, while people in the cities are often unemployed.
With your donation we support families with natural resources such as food, necessary things for everyday life and basic medicl care. In return, the parents volunteer their labour to institutions like schools or orphanages etc.
Basic school equipment
A good school education ist he best and the most sustainable way out of poverty.
Books, notebooks and school materials form the basis of learing. Sometimes there is only one textbook for a whole class. Without books and exercise books, children cannot learn.
Help to equip schools in Tanzania with teaching materials such as books and exercise books.
